I was born in Baltimore, Maryland and migrated to Chicago in 1995. Gaining influence from my parents – my mother encouraged me to get a job when I was 15; my father took me to see horror movies such as The Legacy, The Changeling and Alien in theaters, and I have since been an avid fan of the horror movie genre.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be one of two things, a chef or an actor. Since I was 15, I worked in restaurants and eagerly pursued writing and acting. My love of the culinary arts continued throughout high school, college, and beyond. In my first years of living in Chicago, I took jobs as a cook, catering director, and more. Fortunately, I was able to pursue keeping a foot in both of my passions throughout my career. While in the world of hospitality, I was able to continue my writing, acting, and producing. Today, I serve as Head of Staff for Iron Galaxy Studios. So here I am, enjoying the two sides of me. Work and Play…
